- Our first stop was in the food court to pray for two little boys with hearing aids. They were very open to us praying for them, and one of the little boys excitedly recited a Hebrew prayer for us (the funny thing is, is that Annie is a Messianic Jew, and knows Hebrew!). We are now believing that they are fully healed!
- Next we stopped a young man name Antwon that God highlighted to us as he walked by. He was surprised that we were praying for people, and mentioned that we could pray for his Mom who had just had bone surgery. We joined hands with him and prayed for her full healing, and after Annie shared with him things she felt were on God's heart to encourage him. He was very encouraged and said, "that was exactly what I needed to hear right now!"
- After leaving Antwon, we saw an older man in a wheelchair with a leg brace. We approached his family, explained the treasure hunt, and asked to pray for him. His son (I believe), stood with a smile on his face and asked us if we believe in Jesus, and then proceeded to tell us he needed prayer too, but God already healed him so much! We rejoiced with him, and before we could pray for them, he prayed for us! Annie and I were so blessed as we recieved their prayers, and prayed for them before we left!
- Next stop, we found a lady on our treasure map (older, african american woman with graying hair). She practically walked right into us as Annie explained our treasure hunt, asking to pray for her and her husband. She asked for prayers for good health, and as we prayed, Annie heard the Lord tell her things to encourage this lady with. She shared with her how God has not forgotten the ways that she has sacrificed many things for others and looks on her with so much joy and love. She was moved to tears as Annie shared and left us looking encouraged and surprised at the God encounter she just had.
- Our last divine appointment was on our way back through the food court with somone bearing one of our clues (a tattoo!) We stopped at this young man's table asking if we could pray for him. He gave us a few things to pray for, and after we prayed Annie stepped out to encourage him with what she felt the Lord saying to him. What she shared went right along with his current situation as we found out, and he was so encouraged that he stopped us again as we were leaving the food court to thank us for stopping and praying for him!
Praise God for what He did today!! We are so excited to go out and do this again together next week! Jesus also loves YOU so much and wants you to know this love in His kindness to you today! I pray that He touches your heart with this kindness today and that He wants for you also to have an encounter with Him as much as the people we ministered to!
I love this testimonies. Treasur hunting is one of the most fun and exciting things to do. God is always faithful to give clues and answer prayers. Keep it up.
