Baby Days

Enjoying the "little" days here with our two wonderful boys! God has truly blessed us beyond our wildest dreams with these two bundles of joy (one is a slightly larger bundle!).  Levi is loving his new little buddy as you can see and Judah is happy to have a big brother who likes to cuddle and kiss!  No day is like another and the adventures are never ending! It is all so much fun and I only wish such days would not end...It is a journey and I don't want to miss a moment! But I can't wait to see what Papa God has in store as we watch them grow up :)

Celebrating Levi's New Room!

Welcome to Levi's new Toy Story room!! Over the past few months Chris' office was transformed into a little boy's dreamland! With the help of our friends (Chris George, Stephen Lewis, and both wonderful Grandma's), we were able to paint, put doors up and decorate his new space! Yesterday we had a party to celebrate his room being finished with a Toy Story cake and all :) Levi loved it so much he slept all night in his new room last night for the first time! Thank you to everyone who helped and blessed our little Levi!!

English Rose Tea Time!

 This past week My Mom treated me to one of my favorite places in Arizona, the English Rose Tea Room in Carefree!! As you can see the food is scrumptious and it so fun to dress up their hats and pretend we really are in England! I almost forgot how hot is was outside! We can't wait to bring my sister Erin here in the Fall!

Summer Memories!!

With a BIG Thanks to Chris' wonderful Aunt and Uncle, we were able to re-live summer memories that I had growing up in this very SAME pool when I was little! We have been looking all summer for this pool, but alas, no one seemed to have one as good as our favorite "blue little tikes pool." But a visit to our Aunt and Uncles this past weekend proved that they were able to preserve this amazing, sturdy pool of our 80's memories! You can't buy one like this these days and with the slide, Levi was in heaven! He went down 30-40 times, enjoying every minute! We will definitely be using this the rest of the summer!

Happy Fourth of July Everyone!! Thank you Jesus for this day that you gave our nation freedom to worship you and seek you! I pray that we would return to You with all our hearts! Thank you also for all the American troops who continue to fight for freedom! Be with them and protect them Lord, and shower your mercy upon them!

It's a Pickling Day!

This was my first experience pickling and it was even more fun because I actually grew the cucumbers in my own backyard! These are Alton Brown's spicy pickles (recipe found here). They are delicious! Next time I will I get a crock like Alton uses, instead of using my really wide crockpot. I think it will help the spices  infuse flavor into the pickles even more! But not a bad start! And no, I did not can the pickles...I just put them in jars in the fridge. Canning will be a whole other day, but not right now!
